Job Vacancy: Warden Couple

Job Summary:
We are looking to appoint experienced Warden/s for a busy five star Holiday Park. An immediate start would be advantageous. Ideally this post would suit a couple. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, confident and motivated with good communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team. It is vital that they are able to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to be in charge of the park in the absence of the manager. They will be able to deliver excellent customer service and be required to carry out various administration, reception, maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Taking and processing bookings.
Answering emails and telephone calls.
Cash handling.
Checking in customers.
General maintenance.
Grass cutting, strimming and ground maintenance.
Cleaning hire fleet and amenity block.
On call duties.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidates will have the following capabilities.
Experience of employment on a holiday park.
A flexible approach.
Excellent customer service skills
General office skills.
Basic computer literacy.
Strong communication skills.
Be highly organised and be able to prioritise and work under pressure.
Ability to work with others.
General maintenance skills.
A working knowledge of garden and grounds work

This is a live-in full time post initially in a central heated static holiday home for the first couple of months and thereafter a 1 bedroomed studio flat will be provided with all bills included in package.

Duties:- include cleaning amenity blocks, holiday caravans for hire, and associated laundry. Ground maintainence includes grass cutting, strimming, painting, and refuse collection etc.

Job Vacancy: Fulltime Seasonal Campsite Wardens

The MacLeod Estate is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working full wardens to work at Glenbrittle Campsite, Glenbrittle, Carbost, Isle of Skye, IV47 8TA. Varied customer-facing and practical skill sets are required combined with an ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate a real sense of pride in all you do. You will be working closely with Cuillin coffee Co baristas in the newly refurbished campsite café and will also have a number of cross-over duties. Café and retail experience would be extremely beneficial for the role.

We do have one static available on site for staff accommodation. For real home comforts, if you have your own camper van, electric is supplied for the season. The campsite is remotely located at the base of the Cuillin mountain range, next to Glenbrittle beach and is a haven for walkers and tourists. The nearest village shop is 7 miles and the closest supermarket is 25 miles from the site.

Season: we are looking for either a couple or individual applicants to help out in busiest times June,July & August.

Café and Shop onsite: our Cuillin Coffee Co café on site sells a selection of freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries. The shop also has a range of groceries, local craft produce and camping equipment. This area is combined with the main reception and office for campsite bookings, electric hook ups and general queries etc. Phone and email enquires are answered daily.

The site: requires ongoing maintenance during the season including groundworks, grass cutting, fencing, cleaning toilets and showers, filling pot holes, changing water filters, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and fixing any problems that occur during the day to day running of the site.

The toilet, shower block and dishwashing area: has recently been refurbished and requires attention throughout the day to maintain high standards of cleanliness which is reflected in customer feedback and reviews.

Skills and qualities essential for all these roles:

• UK Driving licence with own vehicle as site is remote with no public transport.

• Ability to work as part of a close team

• Excellence customer service with a smile and huge highland welcome.

• Enthusiasm, dedication, flexibility, multi-tasking

• Ability to adapt and persevere while maintaining composure and a positive attitude

• Willingness to work overtime to cover holidays and any illness

• Conscientious approach to tasks and good time keeping

Skills ideally required for all these roles are:

• Previous campsite or outdoor activity centre experience

• General Maintenance skills

• Operation of touch screen tills and basic use of computers, emails etc

• Cleaning

• Retail & café experience

parks.
• Manage Park communications, contractors,
employees, housekeeping, maintenance,
reception, grounds, recruitment, sales,
and all on-park works.
• Engage with local community to enhance the
Company and Parks' reputation within the
area.
• Engage with government agencies and
grading organizations to optimize the
Parks' reputation and standards.
• Ensure and maintain timely communication
of all relevant park activities and
information to Company Support Office,
R.O.M and M.D.
• Comply with contents of Company Handbook.

Working Patterns:

The role is permanent. Hours of work each week may vary due to seasonal demand averaging 48 hours per week. Days at Work - 6 days April - Sept (6 months) and 5 Days October - March (6 months).
