This is a very busy camping and cabin site in the Forest of Dean. Nearby Symonds Yat offers great views over the River Wye and walks down to the river. There are several activity centres in the local area and is great for those looking for an active outdoor lifestyle.
We are looking for both Camping and Cabin Site Assistants to work in the 2012 Summer Season as part of a service excellence team.
Job Vacancy: Camping and Cabin Assistants
This is a unique opportunity to join a great team and deliver an outstanding holiday experience for our customers at The Forest of Dean Cabin Site and Christchurch Campsite. We are looking for either single assistants or assistant couples to join the team on a fixed term contract for the 2012 summer season, with contracts starting in April and May.
The role is exceptionally multi-faceted and interesting. In essence, it involves doing anything and everything to deliver customer delight - from greeting customers, working in a busy reception to minor maintenance and making sure that campsite facilities are clean, warm and welcoming when customers arrive.
You should be prepared to take on customer service delivery roles in the reception and busy shop and also not be afraid to 'muck in' outdoors with site and cabin maintenance.
You’ll champion our ethical and ecological values, and be open and available to customers for advice, help and first class service.
Passionate about creating unique and memorable holiday experiences, you should have a background that involves resolving customer issues and balancing the demands of customer service and commercial success.
Articulate and approachable, you must be able to strike a rapport with customers and have a helpful, positive personality. You will see problems as opportunities, and though you are confident and independent, you will also be a team player. Basic IT literacy would be an advantage and you should understand how everything that you do can impact on profit and loss.

Hard-working and reliable part-time cleaners wanted to work as a team cleaning shower blocks at Hurley Riverside Park starting early March . Free electric pitch. All hours are paid at £7.00 per hour. Approx 20 hours per week per couple on a rota. Must have own caravan or motorhome.
