We require a Bar Manager to act as premises supervisor for the park complex, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and bar facilities to park owners, holidaymakers and guests.
You must have the ability to supervise, support and motivate bar staff and be able to initiate, implement and monitor processes and procedures to ensure the effective running of the bar. A personal license holder would be advantageous but full training will be provided. You will be required to improve and develop all aspects of the bar, including the menu, entertainment and increase barrelage.
In addition to the Bar Manager position, we also require a chef who is able to provide a professional catering service to customers, through maintaining high levels of cleanliness, presentation and customer services.
The chef will work in conjunction with the Bar Manager to ensure the effective operation of Bar and Catering Facilities.
This Bar/Chef Management Couple position is offered on a permanent basis, with a salary which is competitive. You will be required to work 48 hours per week over 6 days or 48 hours per week over 5.5 days, negotiable with the General Manager. You will be required to work shifts, as you will be responsible for the opening and closing of the Bar.

Plans are currently being made for the coming 2009 season, and we are seeking to recruit into permanent positions, an experienced couple to work along side the Park�s General Manager.

The main duties will include:

1 Providing a relaxed and efficient customer reception service using a unique computerised booking system.

3 The effective operation of the on-site shop.
4 Assisting customers in the siting of caravans and tents.
5 Maintaining the appearance of the site including gardening, strimming and hedge cutting etc.
6 Technical maintenance of on-site facilities.
7 Supporting other team members where required.

Customer Service skills and experience, management experience and driving licence are imperative. Caravan Park experience desirable but not crucial. A full induction programme will be arranged for the successful candidates.

Hours of work:

Out of Season and Low Season 8.30am to 6pm
Mid and High Season (10 weeks) 8.30am to 8pm
Plus on-call responsibilities shared with the Wardens.
(The Park is open from 1st March to 31st October).

Time Off:

1.5 days per week in season with a generous holiday allowance during the closed season.

Remuneration:

£36,000 - £40,000 per couple, plus free accommodation comprising a private flat with ensuite bathroom, lounge/dining room, patio, kitchen and laundry. All utility bills (council tax, electric, water, gas, equivalent to approximately £8,000) and wireless internet are also included.
