Preferably retired couple (male & female), who are friendly, chatty and approachable. We are family friendly with many returning customers year after year.
Assist with the daily running of our caravan and camping park. As any camper and caravanner knows an immaculate toilet block is essential, so cleaning of these is a main part of your day. Saturday is the changeover day for our Hire caravans so they are cleaned weekly. Experience with grass cutting is also an important requirement. In school holidays we are very busy, so evening walk arounds are usually shared to check no noise disturbance after 10.30pm. Reception cover on owners day off may be needed.
Seasonal May - September.

Wardens 2 bedroom static caravan supplied, with water, electric and (limited) gas, also free laundry facilities.

We are a family run business now in its 5th generation . Due to the success and growing popularity of the Holiday Park, the opportunity has arisen for 2 new members to join our team. The ideal couple will be predominantly responsible for the upkeep of our high quality amenity block and our new Family En-suites but also be required for Shop & Reception Duties, ‘Meet & Greet ’ and siting of new arrivals, the preparation of the holiday cottages for new arrivals along with some some general maintenance.

As a family and business our main aim is to make sure visitors staying with us have a wonderful time and enjoy their holiday. The role would therefore suit a friendly couple with an enthusiastic work ethic, and who are energetic, flexible, are able to act on their own initiative, have a common sense approach and who thrive as being part of a team.

The successful couple will be offered seasonal employment from as soon as possible - Sunday 18th September 2016 inclusive. They will be required to work for 40 hours each per week, ( 80 hours in total ), over a 6 day week, at a rate of £7,50 per hour. They will also be offered complimentary use of a hard standing pitch with electric and gas included ( for use with their own caravan or motorhome ). This pitch can be available for use if desired before and after employment to enable you to get to know the area.

Duties include

Reception Welcoming and checking in customers at reception. Answering telephone/e-mail enquiries from, touring caravans, motor homes, tents, holiday caravans for hire along with associated administration.

Cleaning: - Toilet blocks (1/2) depending on demand. Caravan holiday homes for hire, including laundry and ironing, and office to the very highest standards.

Park and ground works, general DIY and maintenance tasks, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control and refuse collection. Ensuring the park is maintained to the highest of standards.

Evening Duties to cover late arrivals and check toilet facilities.

The successful applicants must be friendly, fit, outgoing and have excellent customer service skills. Must have experience in caravanning. Must be extremely flexible and be able to work as part of a small team.

Rhyd y Galen is a quiet and tranquil 4 star caravan and camping park located in beautiful North Wales.

We are currently looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person to join us as a Park Warden from now until October 2016.

The main duties will include groundwork and gardening together with maintenance and repairs. Cleaning of park facilities and our Shepherd's Hut to a high standard and other tasks involved in the day to day running of a park. There will also be some Reception and booking in duties.

The successful applicant must be physically fit, reliable and have a driving licence. Excellent customer care skills and a flexible attitude to work are essential.

Hours of work will be on average 39 hours a week (including weekends and bank holidays) with 1 and a half days off. It will also include evenings on call.

We are offering a competitive salary as well as accommodation in a 2 bed static caravan (rates, gas, electric, water and Wi-Fi are included).

As Weekend Park Wardens you will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Checking in customers to our ‘Tent Field’
• On call responsibilities

• Camping Pod Cleaning
• Bin runs
• Moving storage caravans

The Wardens must be/have:

• A positive attitude with a love for camping
• Hard working, able to use their own initiative, friendly and reliable
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
• Driving Licence required by both parties
• Excellent customer care (previous customer facing job experience)
• Skills in Plumbing, Joinery and Electric are important
• Must have basic I.T. skills
• Be able to tow a caravan

Six-month contract with the possibility of yearly.

Must have own caravan/motorhome

Friday – Sunday

Each Warden would be required to work either 9am – 6pm or 10am – 7pm. Both shifts include 1 hour’s break

1 weekend off a month
