Park Warden on call
This role would suit a retired person willing to offer on call duties on a rota of 4 nights a week. Key tasks being to show late touring and wigwam customer to their pitch or accommodation and various site checks up to 2300hrs reporting to site Manager with any issues etc.

Bar Steward
The Mansion houses a social space used by our holiday home, touring and wigwam customers. We have a licenced coffee/ bar lounge which is open every Friday & Saturday evening throughout the season with extended opening hours during school holidays etc. Guaranteed 14hours per week during the season and during school holiday hours will increase to 35hours per week.

The above roles can be combined to make suitable for couple on a part time basis, touring pitch provided for season.

We are looking for a fit & friendly couple to join us for our 8 month holiday season. Living on site in accommodation provided (a new static caravan), you will be our resident 'Caretakers/General Assistants' responsible for the 'hands on day-to-day running' of the park. Carrying out different roles our couples duties will include the following:

Reception / Administration and Housekeeping
Daily reception duties to include welcoming guests, checking out, updating of computer booking system, taking telephone enquiries etc. Whilst all our bookings are primarily automated you will need a good telephone manner and friendly persona. Above average IT skills and a willingness to learn our systems are essential. Previous experience in MS Office Excel, Word etc. is desirable.
Whilst all our lodge & leisure home cleaning is contracted out to external companies, you will be required to manage this relationship, monitoring correct stock levels of linen, placing relevant orders with our contractors etc.

In addition to this you will undertake the cleaning and maintenance of our small shower block and any of our 'Glamping Style' Hobbits.
Handyman/ General Maintenance & Security
Primarily an outside role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and good working order of our park, accommodations and facilities.

Working with a daily schedule you will be fit and able to prioritise efficiently and effectively. Naturally being a ‘friendly sort’ you will be comfortable dealing with our owners and guests in a professional manner.

Some example daily duties might include the changeover of our property hot tubs in accordance with current health and safety guidelines (training will be provided for this), collection and management of onsite refuse. Daily maintenance issues that may arise with our properties, groundworks etc. Experience in general DIY and basic gardening skills is essential along with a sense of care and duty. An eye for detail such as those cobwebs and weeds that have a tendency to crop up is a must!
Season

Our season will run for 8 months, March thru October, although we would like to start our new couple as soon as possible.

Typical core hours of 8.30am – 5.30pm*, with slight seasonal variation. Working a 6 day week to include weekends you would have 1 day off together mid week.

* Available for 6 evenings at your accommodation in the event of occasional late arrivals or customer assistance, you would carry out a final check on the park at approx. 10pm before closing the main gate.

The Package
Accommodation in a brand new 36ftx12ft leisure static with utility bills and use of laundry included. In addition to this a salary (net) of £1,600 per couple, per month.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, flexible and hardworking couple who would like the opportunity to get fully involved in all aspects of running a campsite to join us for the 2015 season, from March to the end of September.

We are a busy 76 pitch touring and static site in the Lake District National Park ideally situated for exploring the whole of the National Park. Ullswater and Derwentwater lakes are within easy reach as are the towns of Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside. The area is prime walking country and the fells of Blencathra, Great Dodd and Clough Head create a breathtaking backdrop to the site.

We are a franchise of The Camping and Caravanning Club and have been awarded 5 pennants by the AA and 5 stars by Visit Britain for the past 4 years. We pride ourselves in offering the best service with the highest standards of cleanliness and customer care.

The contract is variable per couple, between 34-40 hours per person per week, including weekends, early and late duties and on-call. Full training will be given and once trained you will run the site on our days off.

- receiving and pitching our guests
