We require a couple with their own tourer/motorhome to clean our 2 shower blocks to a high standard. Also to look after our stock of cleaning equipment and linen supply. There are 9 static caravans to make ready for the start of the letting season (Easter), then to clean the caravans to a high standard, on change over days.

For 24 hours work, we will offer a pitch with 16 amp electric (included), plus use of park facilities and free wifi for one device.

Additional hours may be available during our busy periods.

Job Vacancy: Park Manager

The role is all year, however from mid March to end of October is our peak season and very busy. This period will include weekends and bank holiday with long hours.

You will be required to ensure park facilities, services and products are available, operational and maintained to a high standard and that they follow all health and safety requirements. To do this you will cover 3 main areas of the business.

Customer Care Services:
• Handling Customer enquiries to the site in a polite and professional manner via telephone, email, letter and face-to-face.
• Manage and carry out check-in and check-out procedures in line with policy, some being late check-ins.
• Manage and response appropriately to customers ever changing needs and requirements.
• Investigating and solving customer’s problems as well as handling customer complaints, minor incidents, or other issues.

Operational and Administration duties:
• Manage site booking systems and maintain accurate information, records and files
• Compile and disseminate information to customers and residents.
• Maintain safety and security through positive communication with direct colleagues and of course our guests.

Facilities and Grounds Maintenance: (Managing the site Warden)
• To present a site that is attractive, welcoming, functional and safe. Maintain all public areas to the required standards as set by the Manager including pitches, toilet & shower facilities as well as washing, and refuse facilities.
• Assess and carry out rudimentary repairs and maintenance to site utilities and facilities
• To ensure that high standards of maintenance are kept in all areas within buildings and grounds on the site.
• Maintaining high standards of maintenance in all buildings, grounds including gardens, roads, play area and other areas within the site boundary.

Job Vacancy: Park Warden

This role is varied and includes all aspects of general groundwork, repairs and maintenance, DIY projects, joinery, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control, refuse collection, log cutting and ensuring toilet/showers blocks/Pods are cleaned to a high standard and the park is maintained.
Taking arriving guests to their pitches and helping with guest queries.
To also be responsible for the park out of hours in the mangers absence and site security, which will include any necessary call-outs from guests.
The successful person must be fit, active, friendly, honest, and outgoing. Have excellent customer service skills. Must be extremely flexible and ability to work as part of a small team.

A full UK driving licence must be held.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, and excellent reference will be required. Hours will be varied summer/winter.

We are seeking a warden couple to join our friendly, dedicated team of staff from the beginning of April until mid October.

Job responsibilities will include reception duties and shop work, general maintenance and cleaning. We anticipate the position to be 16 hours per week at a minimum but hours will be flexible according to staffing levels and will increase during holiday periods.

Job role includes:-
- Reception work, working with a computerised booking system, answering telephone & email enquiries & taking bookings. Our reception includes a small park shop where you will be expected to serve customers and carry out stock rotation and stocking activities. Good computer literacy and people skills are essential, but previous experience of computerised booking systems is not essential as full training will be given. You will both be required to be in reception independently.


- Daily cleaning of shower/toilet/laundry blocks, areas around these blocks and bin points. Applicants must have a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail and appreciate the vital importance of this aspect of the role.

- Outdoor work including pitching customers, dealing with late arrivals, Health & Safety checks, toilet & late night noise/nuisance/fire checks.

- Helping run activities in peak season such as penalty shoot out and laser clays.

- Gardening and grounds maintenance, including planting and maintaining flower boxes and other areas of planting and pruning and cutting back round lakes and other areas.


You will need a friendly disposition and enjoy working with the general public. Flexibility is key in this job role & a sense of humour is also required. You will need to be able to work independently, and will be required to do all aspects of this roll on your own at times.

Hours will be 28 per week increasing to 35 per week in the school holidays (including evening on-call and assistance in our bar in the evenings in peak season). Hours could increase during peak season. Job Vacancy: Couple Warden

We are looking for a couple that will be based on the touring field from March to November. The duties will primarily be ensuring the cleanliness standards are maintained in the toilet blocks mainly over night. However you may also be required to help with events such as BBQ’s during the day to make the guest experience as enjoyable or possible. You will be in direct contact with customers at all points so you must have high standards of customer service as well as cleanliness. You must be confident with larger groups of children due to the size of the touring site. You will report to the Touring Manager.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and friendly couples to join our cleaning/night warden’s team on our 5 star ‘gold award’ camping and touring park which is just 2 miles from the internationally renowned destination of St Ives in Cornwall. We pride ourselves in the high standards of all our facilities and customer care and therefore the successful applicants must be hardworking, flexible and take pride in their work and be willing to give that ‘little bit extra’ when necessary.
We expect exceptionally high standards of cleaning and therefore the jobs will involve split shifts to ensure a thorough clean of the facilities during the afternoon and late evening and a check through in the morning and early evening. The evening shift will also involve walking around the site to assist guests with enquiries and ensuring everyone enjoys a good night’s rest.

Anticipated working hours/schedule – this is subject to review at any time:

Day Cleaner Couple

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Whitsun to mid-September (approx.) - you will be required to work on bank holidays
5 days per week (25 hours per week each)
8am to 9am - checking through the toilets, cleaning the games room, window cleaning, brushing up etc as required
12 noon to 4pm - thorough cleaning of the facilities building, freezer room and reception toilet etc
Please note that during the quieter periods of June/early July we may need to reduce your working hours.

Night Warden Couple

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: early July to end August (approx.) – you will be required to work on bank holidays
5 nights per week (22.5 hours per week each)
7pm to 7.30pm - checking through the toilets, games room etc
10pm to midnight - walking around the site as night wardens, greeting the night buses etc
Midnight to 2.00am – cleaning the facilities building and continuing to check on site noise levels etc

Additional hours may be required to cover sickness absence etc and therefore you must be very flexible.

Contract: The job is seasonal, from mid March to end of October. With a 40 hour working week and / or 20 hour Part Time position. This will include weekends and bank holidays. Ideally suited for a couple but not essential.

Pay Scale: £13,520 to £16,640 pro rata dependent on skills and experience.

You will be required to ensure site facilities, services and products are available, operational and maintained to a high standard and that they follow all health and safety requirements. To do this you will cover 3 main areas of the business, which are, Customer Care Services, Operational and Administration duties, Facilities and Grounds Maintenance.

Customer Care Services:
• Handling Customer enquiries to the Park in a polite and professional manner via telephone, email, letter and face-to-face.
• Manage and carry out check-in and check-out procedures in line with policy.
• Manage and response appropriately to customers ever changing needs and requirements.
• Investigating and solving customer’s problems as well as handling customer complaints, minor incidents, or other issues.

Operational and Administration duties:
• Manage site booking systems and maintain accurate information, records and files
• Operational and day to day running of a small site shop and information point where you will be expected to help customers with their needs.
• Compile and disseminate information to customers and residents.
• Maintain safety and security through positive communication with direct colleagues and of course our holiday guests and residents at all times.

Facilities and Grounds Maintenance:
• To present a site that is attractive, welcoming, functional and safe.?Maintain all public areas to the required standards as set by the Manager including pitches, toilet & shower facilities as well as washing, laundry and refuse facilities.
• Assess and carry out rudimentary repairs and maintenance to site utilities and facilities
• To ensure that high standards of maintenance are kept in all areas within buildings and grounds on the site.
• Maintaining high standards of maintenance in all buildings, grounds including gardens, roads, play area and other areas within the caravan and camping park site boundary.

Other general tasks involved in the day to day running of a park and working alongside the existing management staff. Wardens are expected to be vigilant, proactive and efficient
The owners / managers are present on site, but being able to work under own initiative is essential.

Touring pitch available to applicant with their own Tourer or Motorhome.

Residential Park Home unit also available subject to agreement.

A well behaved dog is also welcome to stay.

We are seeking a couple as Assistant Wardens who are warm, fun and friendly, outgoing and must like people and children and are happy to just muck in.

Skills/experience required: Caravan or motorhome owner. Able to use own initiative and be self motivated. Ideally suit practical people and good at DIY. PC skills required for our booking system. Must enjoy gardening and have a reasonable understanding and enjoy finding new ways to be sustainable.

Duties will include reception/shop, online bookings, pitching, gardening, grass cutting, cleaning toilet block, organising BBQs, rounders and general help.

Must be flexible, have a great sense of humour, excellent social and customer care skills.

We are a great team and are looking for a couple to compliment us. We are kind, caring and flexible - we expect our Assistant Wardens to be the same.

We are a 5 star touring park located in beautiful South East Cornwall. This is a great place to live and work and we are keen to show our customers why this is a fabulous area for a holiday.

You will need your own motorhome/caravan and must both be able to drive.

This position is for a couple to work a summer season with us as park Warden(s). Duties would include, customer support/liaison, cleaning facilities, restocking the vending machines. pitching customers, watering plants, and some administration as well as booking in and night time site walks of an evening.

Hours are from 2pm Friday afternoon to 6pm on a Sunday as well as bank holidays, and would suit a couple wishing to become full time wardens but as yet have had no experience. The post starts on 15 May 2015 through to 14 September 2015.

You will be someone who is honest, friendly with an open personality, responsible, and be able to apply your initiative to resolving issues. You will be self motivated, confident when working unsupervised and conversant with IT.

Experience is not necessary as full training will be given.

No Accommodation is available but a seasonal pitch with electric is included in the package during your tenure, as well as a monthly salary for the couple.

Job Vacancy: Seasonal Wardens for 2015

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and practical couple to work as Wardens for the 2015 Season.

Duties will include siting tent and tourer arrivals, cleaning and other tasks involved in the day to day running of a park. Groundwork and gardening together with maintenance and repairs are an integral part of this role. Other tasks such as gas deliveries and out of hours check in. Cleaning of park facilities to a high standard. There may also be other duties required within Park facilities. Evenings on call will involve late patrol of the park.

Successful candidates should possess a high level of customer care. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. A clean, current driving licence is essential.

Hours worked five days out of seven to include weekends and Bank Holidays. Will also include evenings on call.
