We are looking for a fun loving couple to be our Weekend Wardens. Set in the beautiful Sussex countryside on 100 acres of farm land. We also have 5 fishing lakes and a stunning lakeside Restaurant. On site we have around 190 pitches, as well as Camping Pods, Shepherd Huts, Log Cabins and a Safari Tent. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to be a part of this beautiful campsite.

As Weekend Park Wardens you will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Checking in customers to our ‘Tent Field’
• On call responsibilities
• Grasscutting, Strimming, Hedgecutting, Gardening, Weed Spraying
• Other campsite maintenance e.g. drain maintenance
• Camping Pod Cleaning
• Bin runs
• Moving storage caravans

The Wardens must be/have:

• A positive attitude with a love for camping
• Hard working, able to use their own initiative, friendly and reliable
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
• Driving Licence required by both parties
• Excellent customer care (previous customer facing job experience)
• Skills in Plumbing, Joinery and Electric are important
• Must have basic I.T. skills
• Be able to tow a caravan

Six-month contract with the possibility of yearly.

Must have own caravan/motorhome

Friday – Sunday

Each Warden would be required to work either 9am – 6pm or 10am – 7pm. Both shifts include 1 hour’s break

1 weekend off a month

Remuneration:

Wages will be dependent on experience and arrangements to be made.

An exciting opportunity for a couple looking to work on a large Park with privately owned static caravans and seasonal touring pitches.

We are looking to recruit a couple as Park Wardens for 2016 Season. The successful candidates should possess a high level of customer care and have the ability to work as part of a committed, demonstrating a fully hands on approach.

Duties to include; maintaining the high standards of the Park by grasscutting, strimming, litter picking, rubbish collection and other tasks to ensure that the grounds are kept clean and tidy; cleaning of toilet and shower blocks and other park facilities; evenings on call; siting of static caravan; general repairs and maintenance to include basic electrical and plumbing work; reception and shop duties, cash handling and general administration; dealing with customer enquiries; liaising with Park Management; and any other tasks involved in assisting in the day to day running of the Park.
Days worked over 6 days per week to include weekends and Bank Holidays. Will also include evenings on call.

We are offering an attractive package including salary dependant on experience together with bonuses and accommodation and utilities.

These positions would suit couples without dependents.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Job Vacancy: Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our 4 star holiday park at Viewfield Manor. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for scheduling, managing and maintaining routine, planned or project work on park. Be service and standards driven, adept at problem-solving with strong leadership and communication skills. Be confident in dealing with management, staff, customers and external contractors and suppliers. Accountable for budget control, cost management and profitability you will be highly focussed in ensuring all chargeable work is completed and accurately reported in a timely manner. You will organise your team accordingly to ensure adequate cover at all times and deal with all aspects of employee related matters and record-keeping in accordance with the Company’s policies and current legislation. In conjunction with the General Manager you will assist in park development projects and actively drive standards. Ensuring all plant, equipment and vehicles are maintained you will implement preventative measures and maintain appropriate records. You will be experienced in the siting, de-siting of caravans and lodges and be willing to work alongside your team in carrying out any necessary pitch work, connections/disconnections, general plumbing and repairs. You will provide general maintenance to the park buildings, facilities and grounds including grass-cutting, planting, redecoration and general repairs.

You will have:
• Previous relevant experience preferably gained in a similar role
• Qualifications and/or be experienced in the operation or powered hand tools/equipment including mowers,strimmers, leaf blowers
• Relevant qualifications and/or experienced to drive and operate tractors, ride-on mowers and other large horticultural/agricultural plant and equipment
• Understanding and knowledge of budgets and cost management
• Working knowledge of computerised systems and reporting tools
• Experience of managing a team
• A full driving licence

You will be required to work 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including bank holidays and weekends.

We are currently looking for a warden (or couple) to join our friendly team and work on the pitches on our small touring/holiday park (we have 15 pitches) on the Somerset Coast. Free use of a double hard standing pitch for your own tourer/caravan (with electric hook up) at the entrance of the touring area is given in exchange for duties carried out within touring area - duties include: cutting / strimming grass on the pitches, helping to site caravans of guests if needed, checking in arrivals after Reception has closed, dealing with customer enquiries/queries, and daily cleaning of toilet/shower which has 4 showers and 4 toilets. You are welcome to use the indoor heated pool and sauna at no charge throughout the season, as well as any of the other leisure activities when available. We are looking for a couple from the beginning of April through to September 16 interested in exchanging a few hours work on site per week for a free pitch (in your own caravan/camper) with electric, laundry and shower facilities (free wifi also available onsite).

Duties include helping us checking campers in and out, dealing with queries, helping campers when required and monitoring campsite rules are met, site and ground maintenance, cleaning facilities (2 showers and loos and washing up area)and helping canoeists and equipment in and out of the water. Hence some physical work is required.

Weekends are our busiest periods and when most of the assistance would be needed.

Subject to suitability and availability, in addition there are part time housekeeping duties in our bed and breakfast which will be paid at £7.20 per hour for approximately 10 hours per week.

No direct previous experience required. We are looking for a friendly helpful couple with good customer service skills/background, who like to see a job through from start to finish, take pride in their work and who are happy to muck in!

Job Vacancy: Maintenance/ Groundsperson

Maintenance/ Grounds person required at our 4 star Thistle graded family Caravan and Camping Park in North Berwick. The purpose of the role is to ensure that very high standards of maintenance are kept in all areas within buildings and grounds on the site, whilst maintaining safety, security and positive communication with direct colleagues, all other team members and of course our holiday guests at all times. Orientation training will be provided to the successful applicant. Uniform will be provided.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Maintaining the high standards of service as set by the Park Manager.
2. Delivering consistently high standards of service appropriate to area of work.
3. Maintaining high standards of maintenance in all buildings, grounds including gardens, roads, and other area within the caravan and camping park site boundary.
4. Ensure compliance with your staff handbook and all relevant legislation and Company policies and procedures particularly those concerning Health & Safety.
5. Supporting and helping colleagues to deliver an efficient and effective service to guests and visitors.
6. Ensuring the security of all company property including stock, equipment, buildings and keys.
7. Maintaining all recording systems as required by the Company.

Note: In addition to these functions, the job holder will be expected to perform other such duties as may reasonably be required within the level and scope of the job.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications
Essential:
1. A proactive approach to giving excellent customer service within our caravan and camping park Team environment.
2. An ability to deliver high quality standards of ground care work, i.e. Grass cutting, Strimming & Hedge cutting etc.
3. A basic knowledge of recurring maintenance problems and repair solutions.
