Job Vacancy: Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our 4 star holiday park at Viewfield Manor. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for scheduling, managing and maintaining routine, planned or project work on park. Be service and standards driven, adept at problem-solving with strong leadership and communication skills. Be confident in dealing with management, staff, customers and external contractors and suppliers. Accountable for budget control, cost management and profitability you will be highly focussed in ensuring all chargeable work is completed and accurately reported in a timely manner. You will organise your team accordingly to ensure adequate cover at all times and deal with all aspects of employee related matters and record-keeping in accordance with the Company’s policies and current legislation. In conjunction with the General Manager you will assist in park development projects and actively drive standards. Ensuring all plant, equipment and vehicles are maintained you will implement preventative measures and maintain appropriate records. You will be experienced in the siting, de-siting of caravans and lodges and be willing to work alongside your team in carrying out any necessary pitch work, connections/disconnections, general plumbing and repairs. You will provide general maintenance to the park buildings, facilities and grounds including grass-cutting, planting, redecoration and general repairs.
You will have:
• Previous relevant experience preferably gained in a similar role
• Qualifications and/or be experienced in the operation or powered hand tools/equipment including mowers,strimmers, leaf blowers
• Relevant qualifications and/or experienced to drive and operate tractors, ride-on mowers and other large horticultural/agricultural plant and equipment
• Understanding and knowledge of budgets and cost management
• Working knowledge of computerised systems and reporting tools
• Experience of managing a team
• A full driving licence
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including bank holidays and weekends.
