The park staff consists of a number of groundsmen, cleaning staff and bar staff.

Responsibility for all staff and health and safety when the Managers are not present, capability of managing staff and jobs.

Maintenance/ Grounds person required at our family Caravan and Camping Park in North Berwick. The purpose of the role is to ensure that high standards of maintenance are kept in all areas within buildings and grounds on the site, whilst maintaining safety, security and positive communication with direct colleagues, all other team members and of course our holiday guests at all times. Orientation training will be provided to the successful applicant. Uniform will be provided.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Maintaining the high standards of service as set by the Park Manager.
2. Delivering consistently high standards of service appropriate to area of work.
3. Maintaining high standards of maintenance in all buildings, grounds including gardens, roads, and other area within the caravan and camping park site boundary.
4. Ensure compliance with your staff handbook and all relevant legislation and Company policies and procedures particularly those concerning Health & Safety.
5. Supporting and helping colleagues to deliver an efficient and effective service to guests and visitors.
6. Ensuring the security of all company property including stock, equipment, buildings and keys.
7. Maintaining all recording systems as required by the Company.

Note: In addition to these functions, the job holder will be expected to perform other such duties as may reasonably be required within the level and scope of the job.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications
Essential:
1. A proactive approach to giving excellent customer service within our caravan and camping park Team environment.
2. An ability to deliver high quality standards of ground care work, i.e. Grass cutting, Strimming & Hedge cutting etc.
3. A basic knowledge of recurring maintenance problems and repair solutions.
4. A basic knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations.
5. An ability to communicate positively with guests and colleagues alike.
6. An ability to work as part of a team.
7. A good all round D.I.Y. ability, to include plumbing, carpentry, basic electrics and painting and decorating.
8. A clean full driving licence
9. Physically Fit (medical questionnaire to be completed)

Desirable:
1. Specialist Maintenance Experience (Trades Qualifications)
2. A good knowledge of gardening and grounds upkeep.
3. An advanced knowledge of Health & Safety
4. First Aid Qualification.
5. An advanced knowledge of carpentry, building and electrics.
6. Experience of working in the holiday park industry.
7. Herbicide spraying certificate.

Ream Hills Holiday Park is located in the tranquillity of the idyllic Fylde Coast countryside; the perfect location to enjoy walking, cycling, wakeboarding & fishing as well as being only 5 miles from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Blackpool. Ream Hills Lake Leisure Park is a brand new Caravan and Lodges Park set in the Fylde coast countryside village of Weeton, just 5 miles from Blackpool. On site we offer new hard standing and grass pitches for caravans, motorhomes, RV’s and tents and also lodges for rental and for sale overlooking our lake.
As we are a new park we wish to create a family friendly, relaxing environment for our guests to enjoy and we will be continually striving to improve the infrastructure and facilities of the park.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated and honest couple to work as Wardens for our first season commencing Easter 2015 through to the beginning of January 2016.
Are you warm, fun, friendly and outgoing, like people and children and happy to muck in but still able to manage a big smile at the end of a long day?
Your duties will include:
• Reception; Meeting and greeting all guests and siting tent and tourer arrivals including out of hours check-in
• Telephone duties taking bookings and guest enquiries; administrative book keeping / use of computer booking package including taking money and card payments
• Cleaning of the new toilet amenity block and rental lodges to our high standards
• Cleaning the rentable campervan style ‘Lynx helicopter’
• Groundwork, grass cutting and gardening, together with maintenance and repairs
• Other general tasks involved in the day to day running of a park and working alongside the existing management staff
• Jointly you will be responsible for the park out of hours in the managers’ absence and when covering for management holidays /days off.
Successful couples should possess a high level of customer service, be professional in attitude, have a flexible approach, a good sense of humour, be well presented and team players.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential. One or both must hold a full UK driving licence and provide excellent references. Hours worked will vary and be discussed at the interview and are to include weekends and Bank Holidays and will also include evenings on call.
Applicants must have their own caravan or motorhome to live in on site. A tent is not suitable. The positions would suit a couple without dependents. A well behaved dog is welcome. The positions are offered on a self-employed basis; the salary is attractive and the package includes the use of a hard standing pitch with free electricity & free Wi-Fi.

5-Star Holiday Park: Job Opportunity

We are seeking applications from a practical and multi-skilled couple who enjoy varied and seasonal work on our pleasant 5-star rated, Bellamy Gold Award Leisure Park in beautiful North Yorkshire.

Able to work on your own initiative with a common sense approach and good customer care skills, a willingness to be flexible is imperative as the job will include the management and running of a seasonal coffee shop. An interest in and aptitude for cooking / baking would be beneficial, but commercial catering experience is not essential. Likewise a food hygiene certificate would be beneficial but more important would be the enthusiasm and willingness to obtain one.

Candidates will also be required to assist in the housekeeping elements of the amenity buildings and our small fleet of self-catering holiday homes, including cleaning duties, general maintenance, grass cutting and ground works and Park events.

An out of hours on call emergency/assistance and security system operates on a rota basis with other staff members.

Seasonal period of employment to run from 1st March to early November.

Centrally heated and Double glazed superior standard static holiday home is provided along with electric and reasonable gas usage.
