You will need to be able to deal with any problems that arise, so any construction, mechanical, grounds keeping, plumbing, and electrical experience will be useful. This is a full time permanent position, which includes free accommodation on the park in a two bedroom lodge. The vacancies are full time, working 5 days in a 7 day period including a mandatory Saturday due to the Guest changeover days, contracted for approximately 9 months of the year (March to November) the remainder of the year possibly involving casual employment as agreed with the Park Management.

Excellent inter personal skills are required in this most important role as everyday dealings with Guest is prominent.

The cleaning and renewal of linen at each changeover of the Leisure Lodge, approximately 5 on a Friday and 11 on a Saturday when full(some week day short breaks in low season).
Escorting Guests to their allotted Holiday Leisure Lodge explaining the use of the items within the Leisure Lodge and their controls such as heating, TV etc.
Laundering the used linen and towels taken at each changeover.
Ordering and maintaining stores and consumables used by the Guests in the Leisure Lodges.
Providing support to Guests both within the Holiday Leisure Lodge and on the Touring Park on a Rota basis with the rest of the Oakdown Team 2 nights a week and one extra evening once a month (Friday) from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Assisting within the Reception/Café/shop on a casual basis if staffing levels require.
Tasks as requested by the Park Directors and Management.
Predominantly for the male/female (Maintenance)
Managing and organising the cleaning of the recently refurbished Oakdown Amenity blocks as ‘Amenities Controller. This will obviously involve cleaning of the toilets, showers and bathrooms.
Ordering consumables used by the Amenities.
Checking the Amenities for cleanliness during the day to ensure problems can be corrected as they may arise.
Escorting Guests to their Holiday Leisure Lodge and when required to their Touring Pitch in conjunction with the other Wardens.

Contract: The job is seasonal, from mid March to end of October. With a 40 hour working week and / or 20 hour Part Time position. This will include weekends and bank holidays. Ideally suited for a couple but not essential.

Pay Scale: £13,520 to £16,640 pro rata dependent on skills and experience.

You will be required to ensure site facilities, services and products are available, operational and maintained to a high standard and that they follow all health and safety requirements. To do this you will cover 3 main areas of the business, which are, Customer Care Services, Operational and Administration duties, Facilities and Grounds Maintenance.

Customer Care Services:
• Handling Customer enquiries to the Park in a polite and professional manner via telephone, email, letter and face-to-face.
• Manage and carry out check-in and check-out procedures in line with policy.
