Blakemere Touring Park is open 12 months a year.

We have 25 fully serviced hardstanding pitches which are larger in size and have electric, water, grey waste disposal and TV aerial connection, plus 26 basic hardstanding pitches with electric and TV aerial hook up and 30 camping/grass pitches, 19 with electric hook up.

A brand new luxury Amenity Block with 10 showers, 15 toilets, 17 wash basins, a family bathroom, a disabled bathroom, veg prep and washing up areas and a laundry room.

There is also a Reception Building with convenience and camping shop plus indoor games room.

We are looking for a warm, friendly, outgoing couple to work as part of our team covering days off and holidays and helping out at busy periods at our brand new site just outside Chester.

You must both have ‘can do’ attitudes and a love of the outdoor life. Preferably with previous experience, but a knowledge of caravanning and camping is a must along with a good sense of humour.

Duties include: reception and site shop, taking bookings online and by phone, guest arrivals and sitings, cleaning the facilities to a very high standard, general site maintenance and on call duties two evenings a week, plus extra during holiday cover.

We are offering full time seasonal work for either a couple or a single person(s) from early March until October 2016 for our 3 star camping, caravan & holiday home park located in Southern Brittany, France.

We need 1 person for maintenance and some gardening and 1 person for clearing, bar work and maybe reception or Kids Club activities.

Duties are varied and will include the maintenance of static caravans and site facilities, gas delivery, security, grounds work and just generally being around.

The role(s) will also involve a lot of cleaning and upkeep of caravans, site facilities and gardening work.

Experience in the building trade or a being a very competent DIYer is important for the maintenance role.

Ideally, all candidates will have come from a customer focused background and be able to deliver excellent customer care, are self-motivated, team players, work well under pressure, have a ready smile and be able to deal tactfully with any problems that may arise.

Previous experience on a camping & caravan park is preferred but not essential. A willingness to learn, enthusiasm and a sense of humour are equally important. A clean, current driving licence is essential.

VACANCIES FOR TWO PARK WARDENS

Oakdown, a multi award winning Touring and Holiday Caravan Park was the first Five Star rated Park in the Sidmouth area and prides itself on first class facilities and most importantly first class customer service.
‘Oakdown’ has vacancies for two Park Wardens commencing at the beginning of March, in readiness for the 2016 season. The vacancies are full time, working 5 days (Wednesday through to Sunday incl) in a 7 day period and are contracted seasonally on a permanent basis.

The two vacancies would suit a ‘Couple’ who can demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and dedication to their potential role.
Excellent inter personal skills are required in both roles as everyday dealings with the Guests are prominent.
The ability to work with minimum supervision and within a Team structure is mandatory.
Previous experience is not required as training will be given to suitable candidates.
Weekend working is definitely required.
Accommodation is provided to the couple as part of the ‘contract’ as evening and overnight duties (on call), on a Rota basis with other Staff are required throughout the season.

Both members will need to fully co-operate in maintaining park procedures, completing forms and filing them in the appropriate places and most importantly communicating with the entire team.

‘Oakdown’ organises its staff where each employee may have a specific responsibility within the overall functioning of the Park. The ‘specific responsibilities’ for each vacancy is to be determined due to Staff changes, but the general requirements of each vacancy are listed below.

Duties for Warden A:
Amenities cleaning.
Acting as a ‘Grounds man’ tending the plants and shrubs within the Park.
Grass cutting using a ‘sit on mower’.
Caravan Towing (experience in this area is beneficial; a demonstration of the candidates towing skills may be required during an interview).
Escorting Guests to their allotted pitch.
Refuse collection and disposal.
Tasks as requested by the Park Manager
Maintenance of some of the equipment.

Duties for Warden B:
Acting as a receptionist in the Parks Office and Reception area.
Amenities cleaning.
Booking holidays using the Parks computer database (Previous experience using computer transactions (data entry) is essential; however, training will be given to a suitable candidate (note: some computer data entry examples may be required from the candidate during the interview to demonstrate basic keyboard skills and computer awareness).
General clerical duties.
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the offices/reception.
General tasks as required by the Park Manager

Suitable candidates will be required to attend St Johns Ambulance training for emergency assistance (First Aid and fire marshall requirements on the Park.

Job Vacancy: Maintenance/Grounds Person

Wickland Holdings Ltd currently has a vacancy for a full-time permanent Maintenance/Groundsman for our three Holiday Parks in Kent. Duties will include general grounds and caravan maintenance and assisting in the siting and moving of caravans. We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible individual who is self motivated and is keen to work as a part of a team. Ideally you will have a background in the Holiday Park industry. You will be working 5 days per week including some weekends.
