6-MONTH CONTRACT APRIL - SEPTEMBER
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and hardworking couple who would like the opportunity to get fully involved in all aspects of running a campsite to join us for the 2012 season, from the beginning of April to the end of September.

We are a busy 76 pitch touring and static site in the Lake District National Park ideally situated for exploring the whole of the National Park. Ullswater and Derwentwater lakes are within easy reach as are the towns of Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside. The area is prime walking country and the fells of Blencathra, Great Dodd and Clough Head create a breathtaking backdrop to the site.

We are a franchise of The Camping and Caravanning Club and have recently been awarded 5 pennants by the AA and 5 stars by Visit Britain. We pride ourselves in offering the best service with the highest standards of cleanliness and customer care.

The contract is variable per couple, between 34-40 hours per person per week, including weekends, early and late duties and on-call. Full training will be given and once trained you will run the site on our days off.

As part of our team your duties will be varied and will include:
- taking bookings using the Camping and Caravanning Club computer system
- receiving and pitching our guests
- serving in the on-site licensed shop and dealing with customer queries
- cleaning the facilities block
- undertaking general maintenance and groundwork

This is very much a guest focused role and a cheerful disposition at all times is an essential attribute. Ideally you will have a customer service background, be self-motivated with hands-on approach and have basic IT skills. Experience of working on a campsite is desirable.

You will need your own caravan or motorhome but we will provide you with a free pitch and electricity.

Successful candidates should possess a high level of customer care. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. A clean, current driving licence is essential.

Hours worked six days out of seven to include weekends and Bank Holidays. Will also include evenings on call.

Here at Drummohr we are looking for an enthusiastic happy couple to join our team in 2012.

This position is for the 2012 season with a view to becoming permanent, we would be looking for a couple to start as soon as possible.
You will need to be people-friendly, enthusiastic and prepared to work varied hours, Flexibility,commitment and enthusiasm are essential.

The main duties would be to Clean our 12 luxury lodges 5 camping bothys and 5 octolodges on changover days.
Cleaning of the two shower and toilet blocks (only one in low season)

The lodges are rented out mainly fri-mon or mon-fri in low season and sat-sat in high season. The toilet blocks would be cleaned 3 times a week in low season unless we have a rally in)and daily in high season(mid July-end Aug)
Other duties would be light gardening, tending to bushes and tubs and possible general assistance as required during quiet letting periods, the average weekly work would be around 25 hours each, you will have a minimum of 2 full days off each week.

In return you would receive your pitch, electric, wifi and a negotiable monthy salary to be discussed.

Job Vacancy: Cleansing Operatives couple

To work five days a week, including weekends and bank holidays on a regular basis and at other times by arrangement.

To maintain the upkeep and general appearance of the two toilet blocks and the Park to the standard expected.

To ensure that ALL drains are kept free from debris and showers, including clothes hooks etc, are kept in good working order.

To ensure that the laundry is kept clean, dry and in good working order, repair when possible and report any technical faults so that they can be addressed as soon as they are realised.

To maintain the washing-up area behind both toilet blocks to a high standard of cleanliness and ensure that all faults are repaired or reported as soon as they are realised.

To ensure that the whole of the Park
is kept free from litter and general debris.

To ensure that ALL areas under your responsibility are checked, and all jobs are addressed, on a regular basis.

You may be required to do other duties for example helping management or wardens.

This position is suitable for a couple/two people.

Coastdale Parks currently have an exiting opportunity for a Seasonal Touring Warden to join our team at Whitby Holiday Park between Mid March and Mid November 2012.
You will be working afternoons and evenings 5 days per week, including weekends
(approx 40hrs pw).

This is a varied role that will involve general grounds maintenance of the touring area including grass cutting, strimming and basic repairs.
In addition to this you will provide out of hours reception /security cover in the evenings. This will involve booking in arrivals to park, making reservations on our computerised booking system, handling customer / telephone queries and carrying out security checks on the park.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who can be relied upon to work independently. You will have good customer service and IT skills, and experience in carrying out basic maintenance work.

Additional Bar/ Housekeeping work would be available for a partner.

A touring pitch is provided free of charge for the season.

VACANCIES FOR TWO SEASONAL PARK WARDENS

Oakdown is Sidmouth’s only 5 Pennant Touring and Holiday Caravan Park and was the first Five Star rated Park in the Sidmouth area and prides itself on first class facilities and most importantly first class customer service.
‘Oakdown’ has vacancies for two Park Wardens commencing at the beginning of the 2012 holiday season. The vacancies are full time, working 5 days in a 7 day period and are contracted approx 9 - 10 months. The vacancies are available from March.

The two vacancies would suit a ‘Couple’ who can demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and dedication to their potential role.
Excellent inter personal skills are required in both roles as everyday dealings with the Guests are prominent.
The ability to work within a Team structure is mandatory.
Previous experience is not required as training will be given to suitable candidates.
Weekend working is definitely required.
Accommodation is provided to the couple as part of the ‘contract’ as evening and overnight duties (on call with a pager), on a Rota basis with other Staff are required throughout the season.

Both members will need to fully co-operate in the ISO standard we have achieved at Oakdown, which entails reading and maintaining procedures up to date, completing forms and filing them in the appropriate places and most importantly communicating with the entire team.

Oakdown organises its staff where each employee has specific responsibilities within the overall functioning of the Park but also be flexible and interchange between different jobs as and when required. The ‘specific responsibilities’ for each vacancy may change but the general requirements of each vacancy are listed below.

Predominantly for the Male:
Acting as a ‘Grounds man’ tending the plants and shrubs within the Park.
Gas monitoring & ordering
Grass cutting using a ‘sit on mower’.
Caravan Towing (experience in this area is beneficial; a demonstration of the candidates towing skills may be required during an interview).
Escorting Guests to their allotted pitch.
Refuse collection and disposal.
Amenities cleaning when required.
Tasks as requested by the Park Directors, Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager.
Maintenance of some of the equipment.


Predominantly for the Female:
Acting as a receptionist in the Parks Office and Reception area.
Booking holidays using the Parks computer database (Previous experience using computer transactions (data entry only) is beneficial; however, training will be given to a suitable candidate (note: some computer data entry examples may be required from the candidate during the interview to demonstrate basic keyboard skills and computer awareness). Retrieving bookings from email, post or telephone.
Insurance database handling.
General clerical duties including filing, email, basic use of excel or spreadsheets.
Cash ups at end of day.
Amenities cleaning when required.
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the offices/reception.
General tasks as required by the Park Directors, Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager.

Suitable candidates will be required to attend St Johns Ambulance training for emergency assistance (First Aid and Fire Marshal requirements on the Park).
