All our pitches are large and well maintained, clearly divided with hedging and shrubs to ensure there is no over crowding, giving you your own individual space. Some pitches are ""awning friendly"" gravel hard standings and all of the pitches have 10amp electric hook-ups.

Job Vacancy: Toilet Block Cleaners

We require a couple/2 people to join our family owned park and existing staff during the main school summer holiday period (6-7 weeks mid July - End of August).

Your duties are to clean one half of our toilet and shower block everyday between 12 noon and 1pm. Our facilities are of the highest standard and designed for ease of cleaning.

In return for one hour per day a free hardstanding pitch with 10amp electricity will be provided.

Full time couple required to run a 150 seat club, pub, restaurant and games room on a busy family run holiday park in SE Cornwall. Duties include ordering /stocking, daily running of bar and restaurant, to captive sited, touring & cottage guests, organising entertainment & promotional events, hiring staff as required and operating to a high standard in compliance within hygiene regulations. The successful applicant must demonstrate the ability to prepare basic pub food to a good standard and create a varied menu with daily specials in high and mid season. Must also be able to work under own initiative and self manage. Salary starts at £15K PA per couple with high profit share to realistically earn £30-40K PA. Job Vacancy: Resident Warden

To assist with the everyday running of the Park. Duties will include: Maintaining the Park grounds, grass cutting & strimming and attending to plant & flower beds, trees and hedges. Assisting with the general smooth-running of the Park; including the siting of touring caravans, motorhomes and tents• Cleaning of toilet & shower blocks, swimming pool, laundrette etc. Assistance with maintaining the Park’s sewerage system and the clearing of blockages.Opening and closing the Park’s swimming pool helping to maintain a high level of personal, colleague and customer safety when undertaking all aspects of the job.

The position requires the Park Warden to be physically fit, have a high level of practical ability and a sound repair and maintenance background. The Park Warden will normally be required to work a six-day week and this will include all weekends and public/bank holidays.

The position also requires evening work and “on-call” work

Job Vacancy: Assistant Wardens

An opportunity has arisen for a couple to join our team here at Heligan Woods, to assist in the smooth running of our 5 star holiday park. You will need to be active with a friendly & outgoing nature, flexible with an eye for detail and have the ability to cope well under pressure.

Duties to include cleaning of facilities block to a high standard, shop/reception including computerised booking system, groundwork and all other aspects of a 5 star holiday park.

The period of employment would be seasonal from the 2nd April to the end of September. The position will be 25-30 hours per week, 5 days a week including weekends.

A hardstanding touring pitch with electric hook up and water is provided for the duration of your employment. Staff laundry facilities provided free of charge.

Channel View is located on the coastal area of Brean Sands, a very popular holiday destination for visitors from the Midlands and South Wales. We are the only touring park in Brean Sands offering beach side pitches and sea views.

We are quite a small traditional park offering 30 seasonal pitches, approximately 30 touring pitches and approx 15 tent pitches. During school holidays we open an additional field with 12 touring pitches and an infinite number of tent pitches!

On site we have toilets, showers, and washing up area. Additional facilities such as shops, restaurants and launderette are within walking distance

Job Vacancy: Park Wardens

We require a warden couple to work during the 2012 season, from late March to early November. The wardens are required to live onsite and are responsible for the running of the park 24hrs a day 6 days a week.

Main Duties:

• Cleaning 2 toilet blocks regularly each day (please be aware this can be a very physically demanding job particularly during the busy school holidays)
• Manning the park reception from 8am to dusk
• Greeting customers, booking them in, allocating pitches, taking payment and showing customers to their pitch.
• Keeping accurate financial records
• Grounds maintenance, including mowing and strimming the site every week and general upkeep of buildings and equipment
• Towing caravans from our storage area and reversing onto pitches

Woodlands is a large family run 5 star camping & touring caravan park with award winning facilities. It is set in the beautiful South Hams, just three miles from the nearest sandy beach and five miles from the picturesque, waterside town of Dartmouth. We are currently seeking to recruit full time staff for the 2012 season from mid March to early November (or until September). We are looking for Warden couples who are practical, active and relate well to others. Duties include: cleaning the toilets, showers, laundry and games room to a high standard; showing customers to their pitch; towing of caravans; maintenance tasks; rubbish collection; evening checks; helping customers with their queries. The work would also involve duties in the Leisure Park; these could range from supervising play equipment & rides, catering, operating tills, distributing leaflets to promote the Park, working in the entrance kiosk or shop. VACANCIES FOR TWO SEASONAL PARK WARDENS

Oakdown is Sidmouth’s only 5 Pennant Touring and Holiday Caravan Park and was the first Five Star rated Park in the Sidmouth area and prides itself on first class facilities and most importantly first class customer service.
‘Oakdown’ has vacancies for two Park Wardens commencing at the beginning of the 2012 holiday season. The vacancies are full time, working 5 days in a 7 day period and are contracted approx 9 - 10 months. The vacancies are available from March.

The two vacancies would suit a ‘Couple’ who can demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and dedication to their potential role.
Excellent inter personal skills are required in both roles as everyday dealings with the Guests are prominent.
The ability to work within a Team structure is mandatory.
Previous experience is not required as training will be given to suitable candidates.
Weekend working is definitely required.
Accommodation is provided to the couple as part of the ‘contract’ as evening and overnight duties (on call with a pager), on a Rota basis with other Staff are required throughout the season.

Both members will need to fully co-operate in the ISO standard we have achieved at Oakdown, which entails reading and maintaining procedures up to date, completing forms and filing them in the appropriate places and most importantly communicating with the entire team.

Oakdown organises its staff where each employee has specific responsibilities within the overall functioning of the Park but also be flexible and interchange between different jobs as and when required. The ‘specific responsibilities’ for each vacancy may change but the general requirements of each vacancy are listed below.

Predominantly for the Male:
Acting as a ‘Grounds man’ tending the plants and shrubs within the Park.
Gas monitoring & ordering
Grass cutting using a ‘sit on mower’.
Caravan Towing (experience in this area is beneficial; a demonstration of the candidates towing skills may be required during an interview).
Escorting Guests to their allotted pitch.
Refuse collection and disposal.
Amenities cleaning when required.
Tasks as requested by the Park Directors, Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager.
Maintenance of some of the equipment.


Predominantly for the Female:
Acting as a receptionist in the Parks Office and Reception area.
Booking holidays using the Parks computer database (Previous experience using computer transactions (data entry only) is beneficial; however, training will be given to a suitable candidate (note: some computer data entry examples may be required from the candidate during the interview to demonstrate basic keyboard skills and computer awareness). Retrieving bookings from email, post or telephone.
Insurance database handling.
General clerical duties including filing, email, basic use of excel or spreadsheets.
Cash ups at end of day.
Amenities cleaning when required.
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the offices/reception.
General tasks as required by the Park Directors, Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager.

Suitable candidates will be required to attend St Johns Ambulance training for emergency assistance (First Aid and Fire Marshal requirements on the Park).
