Job Vacancy: Assistant Park Warden couple

We are looking for an active couple to join ourselves and the existing Lead Wardens to assist in the smooth running of our family-run caravan and camping park in Lyme Regis from the end of April until early September 2015.

Main duties will include: cleaning of modern shower & toilet blocks, cleaning of static caravans, Shop and Reception work, customer greeting/pitching, grounds maintenance (mowing, strimming, gardening), rubbish bin clearance, litter picking, painting and decorating, minor building jobs and evening security.

The job will best suit a physically fit, reliable and self-motivated couple with good practical abilities and a clean UK driving licence. You will need to be approachable and customer-friendly and have a flexible attitude to work. You will need to consider the role as a ""way of life"" (and not as a job) as the work and hours vary from day to day. Hours of work will be appropriate to the work demands and for some days each week you will be required to be the Duty Wardens responding to out-of-hours callouts if necessary.

Jobs will include -

Warden Duties: Evening facilities checks, morning ticket checks and greeting late arrivals.
Cleaning: Full cleaning of the shower/toilet/laundry block – on current staff day’s off. Applicants must have a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Maintenance: to include grass cutting, strimming, bin swapping, litter picking and odd jobs.

Hours vary and will increase during busy periods and high season, but will be over 5 days.

The successful applicant will probably have some experience in one or all of the above skills and be willing to work above and beyond the call of duty during the busy seasonal period when required and also be prepared to work outside for a majority of the time.
