To start asap, a reliable, highly motivated individual required for holiday cover in cleaning of  our holiday units -lodges and pods at our peaceful park in the heart of Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. Work as and when will be Mondays and Fridays at a very competitive rate per hour. may suit semi retired 

We are looking for a member of staff who is flexible, self motivated, positive, hands on and of welcoming nature. Experience of working at a park is desirable but Initiative is the key for this position. Work will involve groundsworks, lodge maintenance and hot tubs. Options are available to do permanent full time if required but would suit a couple who want part time, semi retired position. Work is available for partners if required. Post is initially for one person or shared. We also have a park at Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales so work may take you over there if required. Jobs will include: Operating sit on and push mowers small amount of strimming monthly changing 8/9 hot tubs on Mondays / Fridays Minor repairs to hire fleet This is a permanent post which we are flexible about to compliment individuals who want to enjoy retirement but have a permanent income and base.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking and practical individual to join the team at Goosewood Holiday Park near York as Park Warden. Main duties may include: – Reception and shop work including cash handling and stock ordering Dealing with general customer enquiries Litter picking and bin rotation Gas bottle exchange Cleaning of shower and toilet block together with regular inspections Ensuring that the standard of cleaniness and general appearance across the park is maintained to a high standard Unpacking, preparation and cleaning of sales caravans Evenings on call with late night park inspection Other tasks involved in the day to day running of the park Late park inspections will coincide with evenings on call alternated with Park Managers. We are urgently seeking a couple or single person for general help with the day to day running/maintenance  of our site. The work involves cutting grass and hedges (when necessary) general tidying and cleaning. We are also looking for people to clean the shower block(11/2 hrs/day) and  help with change overs(4-6 hrs/week) of our rental accomodations. Positions now till mid/end of September.
