Oakdown is Sidmouth’s only 5 Pennant Platinum Touring and Holiday Caravan Park and as the first Five Star rated Park in the Sidmouth area prides itself on first class facilities and most importantly first-class customer service. We are looking for two new members to join our team who can demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and attention to detail. This is a seasonal vacancy for a couple (2 persons) to live on site in one of our luxury Holiday Homes that can be renewed annually. For both roles, excellent people skills and a can-do attitude are essential. Previous Caravan Park experience is not essential as training will be given. One role is predominantly in Reception with flexibility to work in other departments when required. Computer experience is essential. Daily duties involve email, customer care, telephone handling, taking bookings, supporting guests both on the touring side and Holiday Home side, storage, seasonal and other general office tasks. The second role is as a Warden, as part of a team of wardens. Daily duties primarily involve; – greeting guests and showing to pitch, towing caravans from storage to pitch, keeping the park looking pristine by tending to the small gardens, grass cutting and hedge trimming, delivering gas bottles, cleaning amenities, bin runs, and other tasks that support the overall running of the park.
• Seasonal Employment from 1st March until Mid-November (reviewed at end of season)
• Accommodation can be provided before the above date to aid with training prior to season start (electric charge only)
• Winter accommodation available on request. ( weekly rent and electric charge)
• Four-day week, allowing three days off together. (currently Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
• one evening duty each week (Friday)
• Start at 8.30am until 6.30pm (finishing at 5.30pm if on evening duty)
• Holiday pay is paid quarterly
