Job description - Campsite Manager
As the Campsite Manager you will have full responsibility for running and managing your site and delivering a fantastic experience for our customers. You will be fully supported by Fallow Fields HQ who will provide full training and guidance to get you ready for opening weekend as well as ongoing support throughout the season. After that you and your team will be responsible for running the site and making sure the campers have an amazing ‘Fallow Fields’ experience. Your site will have 2-3 campsite supervisors to help you manage the team and cover for you on your days off.
The position would suit an individual, couple or 2 friends (with additional hours available for the 2nd person).
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up the site before opening and closing down at the end of the season
- Managing the camper experience from check-in to departure and ensuring they have a memorable stay
- Ensuring all campsite facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard and mucking in as required
- Running the onsite shop and small ‘Gin and Fizz’ bar including making great coffee and perhaps inventing a new cocktail!
- Overseeing the team in the onsite kitchen as they serve delicious wood fired pizzas, rotisserie chickens and breakfasts
- Planning weekly/daily job lists including stock take, ordering, guest arrivals and bell tent changeovers
- Managing the staff including planning rotas, training and creating a fun and effective work environment
- Oversee the delivery of our in-house Arts and Crafts and Bushcraft activities

- Happy to muck in with all the tasks as well as share some of the more physically demanding duties
- Full UK driving license (clean) or international driving license valid in the UK
- Applicants MUST have the Right to Work in the UK
- We will put you through the UK DBS check
- Available from mid-April to the end of September (exact dates can be flexible)

Campsite Description
A beautiful tent only campsite set on a fruit farm in East Kent. We are family friendly, allowing real fires but no music so everyone can enjoy their stay in the countryside. The site offers 15 fully furnished bell tents and 45 bring your own pitches as well as a well stocked shop with fresh coffee, the Field Kitchen for woodfired pizzas and breakfasts and plenty of kids’ activities.
