Job description - Campsite Warden
The salary is £13.00 an hour.
We are looking for a warden couple, who are dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and hands on to join our team. You will be required to work a 5 day week, including weekends and bank holidays. During the low season you will be offered approx. 25 hours each per week and during the high season you will be offered between 30-40 hours each per week. Extra hours are available in the evening in our Bar & Restaurant.
This position would suit a friendly, outgoing and self-motivated couple with a passion for delivering the highest standards of customer service. Must be able to use your own initiative to assist in maintaining and improving our site.
Duties will include but not limited to:
– Welcoming and checking in customers, allocating pitches, taking bookings using an online booking system, and issuing security barrier key, answering the telephone, giving advice and providing information etc.
– Serving in our onsite shop, stacking shelves and stock taking.
– Cleaning of toilet block, bar and restaurant and laundry room. Cleaning of static caravans at the start of the season.
-Emptying bins, refuse collection, general cleanliness of the whole site.
– Park and Grounds Works: strimming, pruning, maintaining flower beds & shrubberies.
– General handy person both park and caravan orientated.
– Feeding of animals on your working days (1 person only) and taking costumers on a farm walk around the campsite 3 evenings a week during main season.
– Any other tasks involved in the day to day running of the park.
– On call for some evenings.
Previous experience would be beneficial, although this is not essential. A knowledge of caravanning and camping would be an advantage.
