Job description - Campsite Wardens

Unfortunately, one of our warden couples has withdrawn for personal reasons, and we are now seeking applicants for a ‘Campsite Warden’ role.

This position is best suited to a couple, required from mid-May to early September, averaging 30+ hours per week across the season (fewer hours in the low season and more during peak periods).

While the role can be shaped around an applicant’s strongest skills, typical responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests and managing face-to-face check-ins
  • Handling any on-site issues as they arise
  • Carrying out daily facility checks and light cleaning
  • Covering cleaners’ days off when required
  • Opening and closing site facilities, along with spot inspections

 

Applicants should have competent computer skills, as the role involves processing online and telephone bookings.

There are some on-call responsibilities, and during quieter periods the role may also include basic campsite maintenance.

  • Be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
  • Have an easy-going, “can-do” approach to work
