Role 1: Reception/ Housekeeping 🛎️🧹
30-34 hrs per week (Main season)
Some duties include:
- Cleaning of facilities and holiday hires to a high standard
- Computer literate to a good standard to manage reception duties (training provided)
- Booking system experience essential (GemaPark beneficial)
- Welcoming guests on check-in, responding to emails, calls and messages
- Managing our small onsite shop including orders and stock takes
- Resident assistance, new customer & sales support, health & safety logs
- Gardening and grounds maintenance (watering, weeding, general cleanliness)
- Maintaining supplier and partner relationships as point of contact
Role 2: Maintenance and Groundskeeping 🛠️🌳
30-34 hrs per week (Main season)
Some duties include:
- A competent ground maintenance worker/handyman with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Practical and flexible with a hands-on approach across many disciplines
- Experience using machinery (grass cutting, hedge cutting etc.)
- Grass cutting, strimming, weeding, general gardening and planting
- Repairs around site (basic plumbing, joinery etc.)
- General site improvements, drainage and refuse management
- Cleaning duties alongside other staff to a high standard
- Basic computer literacy & customer facing beneficial to help in reception when busy
THE TEAM 👥
You’ll be working alongside two other couples (the owners and a warden couple of 4 seasons), while also working independently. We’re a small, friendly team who collaborate with extended partners such as cleaners, plumbers, and gas engineers.
HOURS ⏰
- 30-34 hours each per week (Main season: 1st March – 1st November)
- 8 hours each per week base (Winter: 2nd Nov – 1st Jan). Flexible additional hours available for pack down and larger maintenance jobs.
Closed season: 2nd January – 28th February
During this time the wardens are able to stay onsite. Work may be available during this time, but generally this time is for holidays and downtime.

Caravan Site Description
An established family owned, family friendly holiday park with a touring park alongside seasonal customers, static residents and holiday home hire.
Located at the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors and 30 minutes from idyllic coastal towns of Whitby and Robins Hood Bay with two restaurant pubs conveniently located within walking distance. You can take the Coastliner Bus and ‘Moorsbus’ to Pickering, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, the Yorkshire coast and North York Moors.
We take pride in our peaceful environment and maintained grounds which is reflected in our reviews across the years.
We have a small onsite shop, playground, games room, playing field and a mini golf course area for all the family to enjoy.
This is a dog friendly caravan park with a designated dog walk.
