Job description - Kitchen Assistant/Cook couple
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking couple to work together in our kitchen throughout the season.
One person will mainly focus on cooking, while the other will lead on plating up and supporting service. Both must be willing to share preparation, cleaning and kitchen paperwork duties.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing ingredients and food ready for service.
Cooking dishes consistently to our menu and standards.
Plating meals neatly and checking orders before they leave the kitchen.
Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
Washing dishes and completing daily and deep-cleaning tasks.
Completing kitchen paperwork, including temperature checks, cleaning records and food safety logs.
Checking deliveries, rotating stock and monitoring use-by dates.
Working together to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
We’re looking for:
Previous kitchen experience, with confidence in cooking essential for the main cooking role.
Good organisation, communication and attention to detail.
A practical approach and willingness to help wherever needed.
Commitment to cleanliness and food hygiene.
Availability to work evenings, weekends and throughout the March–November season.
Accommodation
Accommodation is included with the roles, with no monthly rent to pay. You would only be responsible for the cost of gas and electricity.
