Job description - Live-In Warden (Glamping site)
Live-in role with onsite mobile home
Herefordshire, River Wye
We are looking for a practical, friendly and reliable Warden to live and work on our family-run glamping site in Herefordshire. The site has four cosy cabins on our farm, with the River Wye running through the land and plenty of peace and quiet.
We welcome both single applicants and couples. For couples, there is scope for roughly one and a half to two full-time roles between the cabins and extra work on our tipi glamping site in peak season.

Main responsibilities
- Cleaning
- Cleaning and resetting cabins to a very high standard
- Changeovers within set time windows
- Previous professional housekeeping experience desired, but training provided
- Guest support (on call)
- Being on call for guest issues and questions
- Simple troubleshooting and problem solving
- Friendly, calm and clear communication with guests
- Maintenance and outdoor work
- Stacking logs and keeping log stores tidy
- Basic practical jobs such as changing bulbs
- Strimming and general outdoor site maintenance
- Keeping outside areas neat, safe and welcoming
- Building or mending wooden structures
Hours
- One full-time role (plus extra hours if 2 people apply)
- 5 days per week with 2 set days off
- Additional hours available in peak season on our tipi glamping site
- For couples, there is scope for an additional part-time to full-time workload depending on the season
What the role involves physically
This is a hands-on job. The role includes regular physical tasks such as:
- Carrying laundry, logs and supplies
- Bending, lifting and moving around the site
- Working outdoors in all seasons
What we are looking for
- High standard of cleaning and attention to detail
- Previous cleaning experience (hospitality experience ideal)
- Comfortable with practical tasks and basic maintenance
- Good people skills and a calm, helpful manner
- Good time management
- Happy living onsite in a quiet rural setting
- Full UK driving licence required
