Park Assistant Couple – 2027 season
Castlerigg Hall, Keswick
Come and spend the season working in the heart of the Lake District.
Castlerigg Hall is a family-run, award-winning holiday park in a spectacular setting overlooking Derwentwater and the surrounding fells, just over a mile from Keswick.
For the 2027 season, we are looking for a friendly, practical and enthusiastic couple to join our small team as Park Assistants.
This is a varied role ideally suited to a couple who enjoy meeting people, working outdoors and taking pride in providing excellent facilities and customer service.
The role
Between you, duties will include a varied mix of:
Welcoming and assisting guests
General park and grounds maintenance
Cleaning and maintaining facilities and holiday accommodation
Assisting in reception
Serving customers and stocking our park shop
Occasional serving of teas, coffee and cakes in our on-site Gallery
Helping with the general day-to-day running and presentation of the park
Our ethos is simple: excellent customer service and exceptionally high standards throughout the park. We are looking for a couple who are friendly and approachable, reliable, take pride in their work and are happy to turn their hands to a variety of jobs.
Previous experience in a holiday park, campsite, hospitality or a similar customer-facing environment would be helpful, although attitude and enthusiasm are equally important.
Working at Castlerigg Hall
You’ll be working in one of the most beautiful parts of the Lake District, with walks onto the surrounding fells directly from the park and Keswick within walking distance.
The working week includes two consecutive days off, giving you plenty of opportunity to explore and enjoy the Lake District during your time here.

Holiday Park Description
Our award winning park is located in the heart of the English Lake District just over a mile from the popular market town of Keswick. Set in an elevated position overlooking Derwentwater we enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding fells. We cater for touring, camping, glamping and holiday hire caravans. On-site facilities include shop, gallery, sitting room and campers kitchen.
