Job description - Park Wardens
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic couple to join the team at Goosewood Holiday Park near York as Park Wardens.
Main duties to include: –
- Reception and shop work
- Groundwork, grasscutting strimming and gardening
- General repairs and maintance
- Assisting with siting of static caravans
- Litter picking
- Cleaning of shower block
- Cleaning of hire fleet
- Unpacking and cleaning of sales caravans
- Other tasks involved in the day to day running of the park
Due to longer opening hours in the high season, there may be evenings in the reception and shop together with late park inspections. These will coincide with evenings on call alternated with Park Wardens.
Successful candidates should possess a high level of customer care. Previous experience in a similar role not essential but may be an advantage. A clean, current driving licence is essential.
Due to the nature of this position, it would not be suitable for candidates with dependents.
The position is available from February 2024. Initially a seasonal contract to early January 2025 with the possiblity of a permanent role.
Hours worked to included weekends and Bank Holidays and evenings on call.

A luxury 40ft x 20ft Willerby Twin Unit with two bedrooms, double glazing and central heating is provided as accommodation together with utilities including WiFi.
