Job description - Part-Time Warden
We are looking for a part-time warden with previous warden experience or good knowledge of motorhomes and caravans.
The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for meeting and greeting guests, checking guests in, and dealing with any issues that may arise in a friendly and professional manner.
The role requires the successful applicant(s) to be comfortable living on site during their working schedule and therefore requires ownership of a caravan or motorhome for accommodation.
Flexibility is required, including the ability to exchange working days where necessary to accommodate the needs of both parties.
Work Schedule
Wednesday and Thursday: Warden days off.
The working week finishes at 2:00 pm on Tuesday and resumes at midday on Friday.
Tuesday, Friday & Saturday:
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Cleaning guest facilities
From 4:00 pm: Guest check-ins and general enquiries
Sunday and Monday: Full warden coverage while the site owners are off. Duties include cleaning facilities and operating the Reception.
Duties Include
Checking in guests
Checking guests into their pitches.
Providing an orientation of the campsite and local area using maps and information provided.
Guest and General Enquiries
Dealing with guest enquiries and assisting with any issues that arise.
Providing a friendly and professional service to all guests.
Cleaning Guest Facilities
Cleaning the common guest facilities as required on working days.
This includes the laundry and amenities block, including showers, sinks, toilets and floors.
Waste Management
Keeping waste bins tidy and ensuring they are properly packed down and managed.
What We Offer
Free hard-standing pitch all year round, which will be fully serviced with water, electricity and septic/waste hook-up upon completion.
£50 per month electricity subsidy. Electricity is metered, with the subsidy applying each month.
Contract payment of £150 per week.
Additional Work
Additional contract work may be available as required, including:
Park and ground maintenance
Grass cutting using ride-on mowers
Hedge cutting
General grounds maintenance
Caravan washing
Any additional work will be paid at an agreed contract rate.
