Job description - Warden
Situated in the village of Sheriff Hutton, close to the historic City of York, York Meadows an idyllic, family run, countryside retreat for caravan and camping in the North Yorkshire region.
In anticipation of a busy 2024 season, we are seeking a Warden to join our existing, friendly team, undertaking traditional wardening work, to start in March 2024. We are a hardworking, friendly and fun team, meaning that a cheerful disposition, good sense of humour and a good work ethic are vital.
The traditional Warden role includes (but is not limited to):-
* Reception work including checking in customers, maintaining computerised booking systems, taking bookings over the phone & online and shopkeeping.
* All aspects of grounds maintenance and general handy work. Late night wardening checks.
* Maintaining our 5-star cleaning standards, including shower blocks/toilet facilities.
Attention to detail in all aspects and good customer care are vital. Computer skills are required and being physically fit is an advantage. This role suits a single person.
Hours of work are approx. 30-35 hours per week including weekends to October 2024.
Pay £11.50/hour plus holidays. A free pitch and Wifi is also included.

York Meadows Caravan Park is located at Sheriff Hutton, set in an idyllic and peaceful location surrounded by rolling farmland and nestled in the stunning and tranquil splendour of the Howardian Hills and Vale of York. York Meadows is also a short drive from the Coastal areas which have something to offer for all the family, or get away from it all and get back to nature, exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, no matter what time of the year, they are always full of magnificent scenery.
With a network of public footpaths nearby such as the Ebor Way, Wold Way and Centenary Way, this is truly a sensational area to discover, full of outstanding natural beauty, offering unforgettable walks.
