Holiday caravans, camping pods and level sheltered touring pitches set in spacious fields are surrounded by 300 acres of pine forest.  Explore the forest from the park.
We offer self-catering holiday caravans for weekly stays and short breaks.  Sleeping up to 6 in 2 bedrooms, or 8 in 3 bedrooms, they are fully-equipped and you can bring your family pet too.
Camper vans, motor homes, touring caravans and tents are welcome.  Many of our pitches have electric hook-ups and we have hard standings and grass pitches available.  
Our big camping field is great for families, groups of friends, scouts, guides, and rallies.  
Our camping pods have been specially designed for us.  Sleeping up to 4 they are a cosy alternative to camping.
Facilities include a free indoor heated swimming pool, shop with off-licence and bakery, take away, children’s play areas, games room, tennis court, sauna and forest walks. Our central amenities building provides free hot showers, a family shower room, baby changing, washing up facilities, a laundry room and a campers kitchen.  Wi-Fi is provided free of charge across the park.

Job description: Riverside Campsite Warden – Live-in Summer Role

Spend your summer living riverside in one of East Anglia`s most beautiful campsites. Family-run for 68 years, Rushbanks offers off-grid camping, dark skies, campfires, canoes, no commute, no traffic, and a genuine change of pace.

This isn`t a holiday — it`s a real live-in summer role for someone who wants to step away from normal life for a season, help run a beautiful campsite, and enjoy simple riverside living in return for accommodation, a fair wage, and time to think.

One season is fine. We`d love you to return year after year. Open to individuals and couples. Dog-friendly.

The Role:

You`ll be the friendly face at check-in, the calm presence keeping the site running, and the person who handles late-night noise reminders with warmth and authority. Roughly 8 hours per day, split across the day.

What you`d do:

Greet and check in arriving campers

Help with fire pits, logs, canoe and paddleboard gear

Morning toilet and shower clean; evening restock and quick clean

Friendly 10:30-11:30pm site walk-about: water buckets, fires out by 11pm, quiet hours from 11pm

Occasional grounds work: strimming and hand-mowing grassed areas as needed

Help prep and put away canoe and paddleboard hire equipment

Handle basic on-site fixes where possible

Weekends and bank holidays are busiest. Rest days will most likely be midweek.

£12.71 per hour — paid weekly

Couples Welcome

Both partners on payroll, paid for hours actually worked, sharing the caravan. One may prefer check-ins and the social side; the other evening patrols and maintenance. Rest days can be taken together.

Minimum 3 years` customer-facing work experience

Right to work in the UK

Sober on shift, sensible off shift

Basic IT skills using an iPad (training given)

Full commitment to June – mid-September

Comfortable with off-grid rural living

James Caravan Park is owned & run by a family of 5 whose experience in the leisure industry dates back over 5 generations!

the campsite is situated near the town of Llangollen, which sits at the base of The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Dee Valley has inspired folklore, literature, painting and music over many centuries, and it is clear to see why. Boasting some of Wales most iconic landscapes, the Valley is one of only Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Wales.

James Caravan Park offers the feel and privacy of wild camping with the luxury of conventional holiday parks. Offering both fully-serviced and non-electric grass pitches and centrally-heated toilet block. The array of pitches sit amongst mystic oak trees and is surrounded by nature. Previously part of the Wynnstay Estate, the site still maintains its stately feeling.

Blackberry Wood is a family run unique, luxury glamping and camping site set in a rural location just outside Plumpton, East Sussex.  Blackberry Wood is in a league of its own when it comes to glamping, and currently boasts accommodations such as stunning tree houses, a fire engine, a helicopter, a bus and of course luxury cabins and beautiful shepherds huts.   The site is run to a high standard and puts the luxury and needs of guest as a top priority.
