Camping in the New Forest have recently been appointed to run Forestry England’s ten New Forest Campsites. These sites are: 

Aldridge Hill 

Ashurst

Denny Wood 

Hollands Wood

Holmsley 

Longbeech 

Matley Wood

Ocknell

Roundhill 

Setthorns

The sites are based in the heart of the New Forest and range in size, structure and facilities. All ten are surrounded by the open forest where the New Forest Ponies run wild.

Camping in the New Forest will run the sites with education, environment and visitor experience at heart of every decision. Visitors to these unique sites will enjoy a back to nature experience which will include educational activities and woodland walks (run by our local suppliers). 

Each site will employ a number of wardens (exact numbers depend on the size of the campsite) who will work alongside a site manager to oversee the day to day running of the campsites. Head Office, located in Brockenhurst, will support the wardens throughout the year and help develop the sites to improve conditions for both visitors and staff. 

Alongside their duties wardens will be offered a free pitch, laundry facilities, competitive salary and pension. Training will be offered to all employees and CPD to those who want to progress within the industry.
